This year’s A grade promises to be yet another hotly contested competition.
There will be plenty to look forward to in 2017, especially for the seven clubs who appointed new coaches.
How does Laura Carland ensure the 2015 premier and 2016 runner-up remains competitive after losing five of their starting seven?
Can Tatura climb up the ladder and emerge as a genuine improver of the competition under the guidance of new coach Molly Boyle?
She comes with an outstanding resume and has recruited a number of talented girls to the team.
The biggest question is will they be able to gel straight up for instance success when they travel to take on another struggler from last year Mansfield.
Will Jessie Barnes-Hill have an immediate impact for Shepparton United after joining from Rumbalara during the off-season?
She was such a huge influence at Rumbalara and expect her to swing between attack and defence for the Demons.
Who will mount the challenge to knock Kyabram off their perch?
And let me tell you that won’t be easy.
The Bombers have retained a large slice of the team that claimed that title under Belinda Lees.
My guess is that Shepparton looms large and possibly the biggest threat to Kyabram.
The Bears are well coached by Tracey Brereton and they have a foundation with regulars Jacinta Todd, Steph Gorrie, Morgan Gibson and Laura Ryan to guide some of the younger talent expected to be given a chance to play A-grade this season.
Or will it be the ever consistent Euroa which takes it up to Kyabram.
The Magpies have added another class shooter to the playing roster while Sophie Hayes and Ella Murdoch add to the depth of the squad.
One thing is for sure it promises to be a fantastic season of netball.
Tips: Benalla, Tatura, Shepparton, Kyabram, Euroa, Seymour.
