Former Milan Man In At Thunder

SWQ Thunder have unveiled former AC Milan defender Francesco Zanoncelli as the club's new head coach following the departure of Fernando Garcia.
Zanoncelli takes over following a decorated playing career, having made a handful of appearances for the Rossoneri before moving on to the likes of Ascoli, Cagliari and Genoa.
The former Italy U21 international replaces Garcia, who was only appointed to the position at the end of last season.
"Garcia notified the Board that increasing work and family commitments were impacting his ability to commit sufficient time to the role," a club statement read.
"South-West Queensland Thunder FC wishes to thank Garcia for his service to the club, and takes this opportunity to wish him every success with his future endeavours."
Zanoncelli recently relocated to Toowoomba to take up a role within Thunder's youth system.
The UEFA Pro Diploma-licenced coach managed four lower-league Italian teams between 2006 and 2010 before joining the AC Milan Soccer Academy in Sydney.
Thunder have only managed a point from the opening six matches this season and face a tough test away to Brisbane Strikers on Saturday night.
