Brisbane Strikers fell just short of double digits against Sunshine Coast FC on Tuesday night, leaving Perry Park with an emphatic 9-0 win.

Seven Strikers players got in on the goalscoring fun, with Michael Lee the lone player to score a double.

Lee and Jake McLean were in lockstep all evening as the Strikers duo combined to tear the Fire defence apart.

Strikers were up 3-0 inside 30 minutes and never looked back to pick up a third win of the season, as well as a healthy goal difference boost.

Strikers are at home again this weekend, hosting SWQ Thunder. Fire will attempt to pick up the pieces back on the Sunshine Coast, against Brisbane Roar Youth.
