Redlands United and Gold Coast City have played out a tense 1-1 draw at Cleveland Showgrounds on Tuesday night.
Following a goalless first half, the second opened up, with the first goal falling to Redlands’ Alex Warrilow who connected with a perfect Feli Sheriff cross.
City pressed hard soon after and were rewarded when Sam Smith netted the equaliser with a stunning volley from outside the box.
Neither side were able to break the deadlock in the remaining minutes, meaning City continue their unbeaten run since round two.
Redlands will play Moreton Bay away next weekend, while City travel to Townsville to play Northern Fury.
