Pasay City Astrodome Eyed as Venue for 84th NCAA B
Pasay City seems to be the next place where NCAA fans will see action on the 84th season basketball tourney. The 'Pasay' City ASTRODOME (formerly Cuneta Astodome) was host to previous basketball games of the league in the past. In an ocular visit held last May 2, 2008, Mr. Jay Ferrer assured NCAA Chairman Ding Lozano of the availability of the venue for this season with the upgrading of some areas of the first level.
New house rules for the use of the venue were also shared with the NCAA for dissemination to its member schools. The Juniors Division will see action in the morning of Wednesdays and Fridays while the afternoon televised games will be made on the usual 2-6 p.m. slot on Studio 23 of the ABS-CBN network of the same days.
