Reece Edmonds' 88th minute winner has clinched Northern Fury's third win of the season as they beat Redlands United 4-3 at Cleveland Showgrounds on Saturday night.
The Fury ran out of the blocks, scoring two quickfire goals to Hamish Cassady and Jake Perry, and continued to press after halftime with Perry's tap in completing his brace.
But Redlands showed tremendous resolve to claw back to 3-all, with Alistair Davis on the end of two pin point passes and substitute Stuart Edgar netting a strong header.
The game looked destined for a draw before Reece Edmonds found himself one-on-one with Redlands' keeper Denver Crickmore, ably converting the winner and continuing Fury's recent success.
The Fury return home to play South West Queensland Thunder next weekend, hoping to continue their climb up the ladder, while Redlands play Gold Coast City at home.
