Gold Coast City have continued their winning ways, comfortably defeating Sunshine Coast Fire 4-0 at Sunshine Coast Stadium on Sunday afternoon.

The first half was dominated by a Jarrod Kyle masterclass, whose byline cutback set up Sam Smith for City's first. Kyle found the net in 17th minute, pouncing on a low ball into the box, before Lochlon Reus's thunderbolt sent the visitors into the break with a 3-0 lead.

Fire's Kevin Downes made a number of saves in the second half, but City proved too much to handle, with substitute Benjamin Lyvidikos scoring their fourth from the edge of the area.

City will return home to play South West Queensland Thunder next weekend, while Sunshine Coast travel away to Townsville to take on the Northern Fury, eager for their first win.
