Glockner Hattrick Seals City Win

Carter Glockner scored a hattrick as Brisbane City secured a dominant 3-0 win over the Northern Fury at Corporate Travel Management Stadium on Saturday night.
Brisbane City opened the scoring after only 3 minutes through a scrappy finish from Glockner, after the Fury failed to deal with a Kakehi long throw.
Glockner's second came in the 20th minute, after Kai Smith ran onto a pinpoint pass from Scott Halliday and crossed the ball low into the penalty area, with Glockner sliding the ball into the back of the net.
The second half was a tighter affair, with a number of strong challenges, before Glockner completed his hat-trick from 6 yards out.
City's win was marred by a red card to Jayden Balarezo, who was marched for a headbutt.
City will hope to continue their early season rise up the ladder when they host the Brisbane Strikers next weekend, while the Fury return home to take on Sunshine Coast FC.
