The Presidents Update
A Presidents Update - 22nd Feb 2017
As those of you who play at the club, read the paper or monitor our website and face book page will know things are happening at the Flames. Domestically we have new competition balls, will move to individual player registrations (cost $99 per annum) next month and will have full electronic stadium scoring ready for the start of the new season.
In WABL we have two new teams, a new team sponsor which means new playing shirts, we will have new balls, kit bags , water bottle carriers and medical kits for all teams and were just about to sign a sponsor which will also mean new shirts for the coaches, assistant coaches and team managers.
For SBL our men’s imports arrived on the week end, we have our first combined Naming Right’s sponsor for both the men’s and women’s teams, have signed individual sponsors for all players, have signed a number of gold and silver team sponsors and created an entertainment package that will amaze anyone attending one of our home games this season.
From an overall club perspective we have a new system for equipment and merchandise orders which is being rolled out over the next 2 weeks and will have an expanded list of items. We have also applied for a number of grants to assist the club in a number of areas and will be rolling out a number of programs in the coming months.
Part of the move to the new constitution means that we will have a new level of social membership available at $33 which will be for non playing members. The schedule of memberships and fees can be found under the RBRA documents section of the website. Over the next 12 months we will be developing a member loyalty program which will give some great discounts at local businesses.
More updates will occur next month.

Club President.

Comment Guidelines: The SportsTG Network is made up of players, families and passionate sports followers like you who have a strong opinion about sport. That's great - we want you to have your say and share your thoughts with the world. However, we have a few rules that you must follow to keep it fun for all. Please don't be rude, abusive, swear or vilify others. Apart from some pretty serious sport sanctions, we also can ban you and report you if things get out of hand. So play fair and have fun, and thanks for your contribution.
