An opportunity exists for Darling Downs junior players to be involved in upcoming practice matches against Labrador AFC.
The games have been organised with the intention to give Lions Academy coaches and U16 SE coaches the chance to identify local talent for upcoming squads.
Note: This will be the official pathway for U16 players looking to gain selection for the upcoming U16 State Championships.
The games will be played over 3 age groups with all information below.
When: Sunday 5th March, 2017
Where: Labrador AFC, 28 Ashton St, Labrador
Cost: TBC
Apparel: Playing jersey will be supplied on the day (to be returned) players to provide own shorts and socks (colours TBC)
Game format: as follows
10:00am – Darling Downs Vs Labrador U14 (boys)
11:30am - Darling Downs Vs Labrador U15 (girls)
1:00pm - Darling Downs Vs Labrador U16 (boys)
2:45- BBQ for all involved
Travel: Car pool (Any players requiring a lift please contact team managers closer to event)

We will be taking
A maximum squad of 25 players for each team. Priority in selection has been given to those attending the summer development program but there are still many places available for those who haven’t been involved with this program.
