The Nationa Olympic Committee of Solomon Island had secured the leased for Multi-purpose hall from Honiara City Council last month, and its currently closed for renovation, the renovations includes the dressing rooms, toilets & shower, seating capacity, lightings, Gymnasium, Conference room, indoor playing court surface and exterior work out side the building. The renovation will last for about 3 - 5 months, So all indoor sports include basketball will have to find their own venue to host their competition next year. Hope that at the end of the renovation of the multi-purpose hall will change to a new face.
