NOTICE: Free Sponsorship e-resource for football clubs
Project findings discovered that almost 2,000 businesses invested commercially in Victorian community football and the valuable financial contribution these businesses made through sponsorship of Victoria’s 350+ clubs was incredibly significant.
As a result of this research, and an important consultation process, FFV implemented two key initiatives in 2016, which would focus on clubs and their sponsors.
These initiatives include:
1. The establishment of ‘Community in Business’ – a business network that would formally acknowledge the valuable contribution these businesses made to football and provide them with affordable and effective opportunities to connect with one another.
2. The production of a sponsorship education program for FFV clubs, designed to assist clubs develop crucial sponsorship recruitment and retention strategies. By providing clubs with sponsorship how to guides, templates, proposals and even interactive tutorials/webinars that would build our club’s capacity to develop ongoing commercial and revenue generating activities.

Comment Guidelines: The SportsTG Network is made up of players, families and passionate sports followers like you who have a strong opinion about sport. That's great - we want you to have your say and share your thoughts with the world. However, we have a few rules that you must follow to keep it fun for all. Please don't be rude, abusive, swear or vilify others. Apart from some pretty serious sport sanctions, we also can ban you and report you if things get out of hand. So play fair and have fun, and thanks for your contribution.
