Over 4-9 December, Volleyball Australia held the Australian Volleyball Schools Cup across three venues in Melbourne, Victoria.
A massive event, the 2016 AVSC saw over 500 school teams compete throughout the week at the Melbourne Sports and Aquatic Centre, State Volleyball Centre, and State Netball Hockey Centre.
Volleyball Victoria extends congratulations to the 145 teams from across 36 Victorian schools that participated in the event this year. Whilst Victoria was second only to Queensland for the number of schools that attended, Victoria enjoyed the largest contingency of teams at the tournament with 145 of the 500 teams being Victorian.
Special attention and congratulations is extended to those teams that made the remarkable achievement of winning medals at the event, particularly those that won Gold and became national champions.

Whilst Monbulk College finished 9th in the Boys Championships School but just outside the top 10 Overall finishing in 11th place.
Overall, a fantastic achievement by all that participated and a great way to finish a big 2016.
