KBF Xmas Basketball Tournament
Before the tournament starts, KBF organized a 2 hours meeting dissussing a plan requirement for this tournament including:
1. Schedulling
2. Starting date
3. Arrangement of playing venues
4. Logistics
5. Categories
6. Bills
7. Communication on updates
8. Marketing (media)
These task was been allocated upon all KBF members and together by NBDO assistance in providing documents such as printing of score sheet, fixtures and etc.
Schedulling was generated by the federation and dispatched to each clubs two weeks before the game starts. The schedule was stating all categories playing at their age groups.
The arragement of playing venues was been informing the Ministry via letters attached with the program. The ministry was working on the booking pass indicating that the federation can use two basketball court such as in Bairiki and Betio sport complex. The federation paid 10.00 an hour for the usage of light at night games just for Tuesday and Thursday. The ministry was given Mon, Wed and Friday free of charge for night games to the federation.
Logistics
Equipments were being available at KNOC Office in Bairiki and kept as well. Results was also kept by NBDO and other KBF members in Betio.
Bills
All costing related for light was taken care by the federation Treasurer paying at the ministry cashier office and copies to caretakers to turn and off light.
Communication on updates
Normally communication between clubs was been informed via emails, distribution and by phones. NBDO got all contact details in order to updates for changes.
Marketing
Media releases was given the local medias updating on the events. Latest updates through medias was being published or submitted every Tuesday and Wednesday before the deadlines.

BTC club with 7 different age groups participated
Bairiki club with 9 age groups participated
Saint club with 8
Pioneer club with 2
Bik Dreams club with 6
TUBA club with 7
Buota club with 1
Xmas Tournament was still in progress and it will expected to be completed on Saturday 24th December.
