Wheel chair basketball - Free come and try event
The City of Canning and City of Gosnells are combining to offer a free ‘Come and Experience’ Wheelchair Sports event at Cannington Leisureplex delivered by Australian Paralympic athlete Amber Merritt.
Wheelchair Sports WA offer a fun and interactive disability education program that is designed to motivate and educate participants whilst offering attendees a practical understanding of what it is like to play sport with a physical disability. Enjoy taking part in wheelchair games, chat to other participants and clubs in attendance and free refreshments. The program also promotes the Be Active message and exemplifies how being active leads to a healthier life.
