The DDAFL launch promoting the partnership between Concordia Sport and Darling Downs AFL was witnessed yesterday by many dignitaries including AFLQ CEO Dean Warren, Head of College Michael Kaiser and former Concordian David Janetzki MP.
After the official opening, students raced through a purpose built banner and took part in a footy frenzy which included inflatables, sausage sizzle and coaching sessions with Lions players Daniel McStay and Josh Clayton.
Sincere thanks must be extended to Mr Keith Webb DDAFL Manager and his team for their tireless effort in organising the event, and their persistence in achieving this partnership. Must also extend an expression of gratitude and appreciation to Mr Kaiser, Mr Craig and Mr Sharman whose support throughout this process has been one of positivity and encouragement. Their vision of continual improvement in support of Concordia Sport has delivered this amazing affiliation, with provisions of many more things to come.
