NEWS: Fee Freeze To Continue Football's Rapid Participation Rise in Victoria
FOOTBALL Federation Victoria (FFV) has frozen registration fees for another year as its 2017 fee schedule was announced this week, meaning that the rapidly growing sport's player registration fees have not increased since 2013! The next generation is voting with their feet, with MiniRoos Boys up 27% and MiniRoos Girls up 29% since 2014. FFV President Kimon Taliadoros said the fee freeze provided the perfect platform for the game to grow again in 2017. "FFV is proud that player registration fees have not increased since 2013," Mr Taliadoros said. "Football's popularity continues to rise rapidly and it is reflected no better than in the widespread uptake in the game at MiniRoos level and continued increase of statewide participation. "FFV remains committed to ensuring that anyone who wants to play football has the opportunity to do so." |
