The Darling Downs will soon have a new place to call home after a deal was struck between AFLQ and Concordia Lutheran College to move the base for AFLQDD to the Toowoomba Redlands Campus.
Come and join in the festivities as the new office is officially launched on Tuesday 22nd November (Concordia Lutheran College main oval) access via Stephen Street.
The event will also include a Footy Frenzy style carnival for the kids with AFL inflatables, prizes and giveaways on hand.
Darling Downs Regional Manager Keith Webb said "the opportunities that come with being based out of one of the regions finest schools is a great win for AFLQDD. New AFL posts are currently being installed on the main green space that accompanies the new office and there are plans in place for further applications for lighting, change rooms, grandstands etc. So we see the arrangement as a win, win for both organisations".
The venue will also have the potential to host state carnivals in future years as well as providing a fantastic training base for off season programs.
The launch event on Tuesday 22nd November will run from 4:45-6:15pm and is free and open to the public.
