Local NAB AFL Auskick winner Kel McQuilty took centre stage during the biggest day on the AFL Calender, the 2007 Toyota AFL Grand Final on Saturday, thanks to the NAB and the AFL. Playing in front of more than 97,000 spectators at the MCG Kel took to the field along with the other 93 winners at half-time where they experienced a truly once in a life-time opportunity! The 94 NAB AFL Auskick winners flew to Melbourne last week accompanied by a parent where they joined NAB AFL Auskick Ambassador Robert (Dipper) DiPierdomenico at the Official Welcome Dinner at AFL World before Participating in the 2007 Toyota AFL Grand Final Parade the following day. All winners also participated in the Grand Final pre-match entertainment before taking to the field to play at half-time during the 2007 Toyota AFL Grand Final. It was a once in a life time opportunity for the Auskickers who earned their selection in one of the biggest kids' competitions of its kind through registering in the NAB AFL Auskick program which automatically entered them into the draw. It will be an experience that the winners will never forget and one they will treasure for a lifetime.
