Congratulations Harbour U13 A Boys and Girls !!!!
Congratulations to Coaches Lana Wolf and Coach Tony Webster who led their U13 Girls and Boys teams to the top spot at the U13 Northern Regional Championship Tournament.
There was some amazing talent on display in the four day tournament form all over the North Island, but it was the Harbour A teams that picked up the silverware in the exciting finals.
The girls team, coached by Lana Wolf, had an exciting final coming up against a very strong Hibiscus Coast team that had won the Supercity title. In the end the Harbour girls were just too strong as they finished with a 48-39 win.
The U13 boys, coached by Tony Webster, were a dominant force over the four days. The final against Waitekere West was convincingly won 76-44. This is unquestionably one of the strongest U13 teams that Harbour has ever fielded. Special mention to the Tauranga City boys team that pushed the Harbour boys so hard in their semi final.
Congratulations to all teams who participated . Basketball certainly has some amazing talent coming through and we look forward to seeing these girls and boys playing our fabulous game in the years ahead, and to the best of them representing New Zealand in the future.
