FUTSAL Geelong is excited to get the 2016-17 Summer Futsal league underway in over the next few weeks with what is shaping up to be the biggest year on record across all leagues at both the Belmont and Bell Post Hill venues. Below is a range of information and updates for team associated with the season ahead, key information, discount opportunities for uniforms and playing gear, referees involvement as well as a final opportunity for any teams that have not yet expressed their interest in getting a team involved this season.
As of 9.00am Wednesday September 21, the junior leagues had a total of 117 teams (65 at Leisuretime & 52 at BVAC) registered and expressed interest, so it’s really going to be one massive season ahead with plenty of competition across all age groups. Some age groups / leagues are now full and we are now looking at options to make new days / times available for those age groups that have already reached capacity. For teams that have not yet registered their interest in getting their team in the Junior Summer Futsal League there is still time. To begin getting your team involved this summer season at either venue, please click on the Orange button below 'Register My Team Now'. For all Junior Summer Leagues, the first week of pre-season / warm up games will begin the week of the 3rd October. We are also excited to see the new Primary Schools Futsal League kicking off in Term 4 at the Leisuretime Centre with 11 teams currently registered across the Grade 3/4 & 5/6 Leagues.
