The minor premier and the best team of the second half will play for the A grade crown today.
Kyabram started the season like a house on fire while it was the complete opposite for the reigning premier.
The second half the Lions took all before them, last losing to the Bombers in the early part of 2016.
Seymour was the first team into the grand final after accounting for Kyabram and Euroa while the minor premier has won its past two matches, defeating Shepparton and Euroa.
In another real positive for Kyabram is the way it has gone about its netball against the Bears and Magpies.
The girls have jumped out of the blocks quickly to establish control of the contest.
Belinda Lees would love her girls to make a fast start against Seymour to put the pressure back on them.
Seymour is an outstanding team and will not panic if it falls behind early.
The Lions get a lot of drive from the back end of the court, with both Elle McDonald and Sarah Szczykulski playing attacking and daring netball.
Through the middle of the court, the Lions have Sarah Douglas, Casey Adamson and Alice O’Sullivan while the shooting combination of Amelia Brock and Rosie O’Sullivan has caused plenty of problems for opposition defences.
Kyabram has Belinda Lees leading the attacking half while they have plenty of talent right across the court.
Last weekend, Ash Mangan, Lauren Pryde and Elle Groves were pivotal in helping Kyabram break open the game in the third quarter and then go on with it in the last quarter.
Another player expected to play a decisive role is the A grade best and fairest winner Stephanie Vick.
She has been a consistent performer all season and she will be eager to deliver on the biggest day of the season.
That will be a positive for Lees to know her team has plenty of fight and determination, especially if it falls behind early in the contest.
Seymour will start the favourite, but we all know that can mean very little come game day, so Kyabram won’t mind the pressure being on the Lions.
