Kyabram will be brimming with confidence as it locks horns with Euroa for the right to move into next week’s grand-final match.
The minor premier was able to play some brilliant netball to dispose of Shepparton from the premiership race and regain its mojo after a loss to Seymour on the opening weekend of the finals.
Euroa has experienced mixed results during the finals, ending the title aspirations of Echuca in week one and then falling well short in the second semi-final against the reigning premier Seymour last weekend.
Another factor the Magpie girls to overcome is the home and away record against Kyabram in 2016.
The Bomber girls have been able to get the job done twice when the teams have clashed and they have also been able to restrict the influence of Kali Guilmartin and Laura Emanuelli.
The Pies will be hoping experienced defender Kelly Hill can provide drive from the back half of the court.
Caitlin Mitchell Maisie Barlow Hannah Kennedy and Sarah Hosking will also be very keen to ensure they have more influence on the contest after the team was outplayed by Seymour last weekend.
Kyabram coach Belinda Lees will no doubt be hoping her team can replicate the form of last weekend’s first semi-final victory at Seymour.
Lees will be one of the key players for the Bombers, along with Holly Butler, Steph O’Nial, Ash Mangan, Elle Groves and Belinda Lees to get them to the grand-final.
