TRFM Gippsland League's brightest young talents were celebrated at last night's junior vote count at Traralgon's Premiere Function Centre.
Maffra's Hudson Holmes took out the Wilkinson Medal as the league's under-18 best and fairest, polling 24 votes to finish four clear of Traralgon's Dougal Williams.
Bairnsdale's Ben McKinnon claimed the Shaw-Carter Medal as under-16 best and fairest, with 26 votes enough to secure the award from Traralgon's Jordan Jobling and Moe's Grady Cocksedge, who polled 22 apiece.
Traralgon pair Jacob Van Iwaarden (71 goals) and Luke DiCiero (46 goals) claimed the under-16 and under-18 leading goal-kicker awards respectively.
Six netball awards were shared between two clubs.
Maffra pair Emma Allman and Faith Biddle won the 15 and under and 17 and under best and fairest awards.
Moe's Madelaine Galea won the 13 and under best and fairest award and Ellie Rose-Coutts was runner up in the 15 and under best and fairest count.
Leongatha scooped two runner up trophies, courtesy of Chloe Brown (13 and under) and Taylah Brown (17 and under).
The league's Evans Petroleum Cup football and Association Championships netball representative teams were also presented with a certificate.
The senior medals night will be held at the Premiere Function Centre on Monday, 19 September.
