Who was the Peter Jackson VFL Wynstan Player of the Month for August?
Thanks to Wynstan – celebrating 48 years of transforming windows and doors in Australia – VFL fans have the chance to cast their vote for the VFL Wynstan Player of the Month on the VFL Facebook site.
Five players were selected for their performances from Rounds 18 -21.

Players in contention for the VFL Wynstan Player of the Month for August include:
Cameron Shenton (Sandringham): 17 goals in four games during August sums up Shenton’s month. His standout game was six goals against North Ballarat, with the St Kilda listed player averaging 15 disposals and 6 marks a game.
Sam Switkowski (Box Hill Hawks): While it took till June for Switkowski to play his first senior game of the season, he went on to play 10 straight senior games through consistent form in the middle for the Hawks with 15 disposals a match.
Jacob Ballard (Richmond): Richmond finished the season on a high with six straight wins; Jacob Ballard being a key to the teams winning streak averaging 23 disposals a game.
Tom Atkins (Geelong): A tackling machine. Atkins averaged 8 tackles a game in August, to go along with his 20 disposals a match. He missed just one game in 2016, in his third season on the Cats list.
Luke Kiel (North Ballarat): The Roosters midfielder averaged 22 disposals a match from three contests in August, producing over 85% efficiency by hand. Also averaged 6 tackles and 5 marks a game.
