Congratulations to Warragul Industrials midfielder Will Gibson and Buln Buln utility Charlie Park.
On Wednesday night Will was awarded the Ian Cooper medal for the best and fairest in the 2016 U/16 competition and Charlie awarded the Bill Cumming medal for the best and fairest in the U/18 competition. Both were presented with their medals at the league vote count at the GRV Warragul racetrack.
In the U/16s Will tallied 34 votes and polled in 14 games with seven best on ground performances. Neerim South midfielder Rhys George was runner up with 25 votes and Nar Nar Goon’s Cooper Hampton and Garfield’s Trent McMahon equal third with 21 votes apiece.

Catani midfielder James Williams was runner up with 27 votes and Cora Lynn midfielder Lochie Peluso third with 20 votes – a good effort as he only played nine home and away matches.
