It is a case of how far Kyabram.
The Bombers have been simply outstanding this season, answering every challenge that all the other contenders have thrown at them.
It is the Bombers premiership to lose, but that will suit Rochester.
James Flaherty will be happy that most give the Tigers no chance of upsetting Kyabram and advancing to the second semi-final.
But he will be reminding his players to go and enjoy the game, play to the game plan and make the most of every opportunity.
On the other hand, Bombers coach Paul Newman is no mug and he won’t be reading anything into the hysteria which has his team as the shortest priced favourite in betting history.
He will be telling his boys to remain professional and diligent.
Both teams are likely to be close to full strength for the contest, with Jake Reeves and Newman the only likely non-starters after hurting themselves late in the campaign.
Nemwan is likely to miss most of the Bombers’ finals campaign, with his return to come on grand final day if his team advances to the big dance.
Despite Rochester having a good record against Kyabram, I think the Bombers will prove too strong and have far too many avenues to goal.
