After being down and out, the Shepparton Swans produced arguably their most important win of the season to revive their finals aspirations.
Last weekend’s win was also the first under interim coach Chris Burke and he knows a win today could catapult his team into the finals.
The equation is very simple for the Swans against neighbouring rival Shepparton United: win and your season most likely will be still alive.
Burke will be chasing a replicate of the first quarter against Seymour which was led by Tom Preece, Brad Riddings, Jessie Finnen, BJ Squire, Tom Davies and Sam Gemmill.
This won’t be easy game for the Swans despite the Demons only playing for a pride.
The last meeting between the teams was a close contest, with the Swans only sneaking ahead in the last quarter.
