Congratulations to Frankston’s Brandon Wood, who has been voted the Peter Jackson VFL Wynstan Player of the Month for July.

Thanks to Wynstan – celebrating 48 years of transforming windows and doors in Australia – VFL fans had the chance to cast their vote for the VFL Wynstan Player of the Month on the VFL Facebook site.

The most creative answer among the votes for Wood was provided by Peter Maguire – ‘Brandon wood by a mile, glides across the grass, with extra touch of class, has to win is only just’ – who has won 1 x football signed by members of the 2016 Sydney Swans Football Club valued at $500.

Wood is ranked in the top 10 for disposals in the competition and averaged 29 touches a game in July. Having played all 17 games this season, he produced a season-high 37 disposals in Round 15 versus Collingwood – with 89% efficiency for his 19 handballs in the game.

Five players were selected for their performances from Rounds 13 -17: Tom Wilson (Northern Blues), Mitch Honeychurch (Footscray), Luke Ryan (Coburg), Aaron Heppell (Essendon) and Wood, whoreceived the most Facebook votes with 384.
