Who was the Peter Jackson VFL Wynstan Player of the Month for July?
Thanks to Wynstan – celebrating 48 years of transforming windows and doors in Australia – VFL fans have the chance to cast their vote for the VFL Wynstan Player of the Month on the VFL Facebook site.
Five players were selected for their performances from Rounds 13 -17.

Players in contention for the VFL Wynstan Player of the Month for July include:
Tom Wilson (Northern Blues): The Blues’ captain had a month to remember, named best on ground in three of his five games for July. He averaged 27 disposals a game, with his Round 15 performance versus North Ballarat a standout, kicking three goals to accompany his 34 disposals.
Aaron Heppell (Essendon): The Essendon VFL defender has played all 15 games for the Bombers this season,and averaged 18 disposals a match in July.He was twice named in the best last month, with his standout performance against Frankston in Round 18.
Mitch Honeychurch: (Footscray): The Western Bulldogs listed midfielder impressed in four games for the VFL Bulldogs in July, averaging 30 disposals a game. He was named in the best in three of his four games, and produced 11 tackles in Round 15, followed by 13 tackles in Round 16. His best game was 34 touches against Richmond Round 14.
Luke Ryan (Coburg): Ryan showcased his skills during July, with strong work off halfback for Coburg and an NAB AFL Draft Combine invitation. He averaged 23 disposals a game, but the key to his game was 90% kicking efficiency. His Round 14 performance against Sandringham was a standout, with 28 disposals, 9 marks and was voted best for the Lions.
Brandon Wood (Frankston): Ranked in the top 10 for disposals in the competition, Wood averaged 29 touches a game in July. Having played all 15 games this season, he produced a season high 37 disposals in Round 15 versus Collingwood – with 89% efficiency for his 19 handballs in the game.
