Souths United FC Women have reclaimed second spot in the PlayStation 4 National Premier League Women's table after swatting aside Redlands United FC Women 7-0 at Wakerley Park.
The home side controlled the encounter from the outset as Deeanna Thompson's first-half double was complemented by further strikes from Ayesha Norrie and Meaghan McElligott.
Norrie struck again in the second half to round out her brace, before Terri-Amber Carlson and Ambrosia Malone iced the result in the final half hour.
The win moves Souths three points clear in second place and delivers a healthy boost to their goal differential as they look to seal home advantage in their first Semi Final in the competition.
The loss continues Redlands struggles in 2016 with the bottom-placed side left with just three further matches to crack their first win in the competition.

What They Said
"I thought we played well the whole game. We played really good football from the first minute to the last. The whole team played well tonight but if I had to pick someone, Terri-Amber Carlson had a great game. You can always improve but I thought it was a very good performance and I'm proud of the team." - Gary French, Souths United FC Women Coach
"We've been improving each week and are now concentrating on working towards next year. I was really proud of the team because they worked for the whole 90 minutes. We have a very young team and when you come up against an experienced side like Souths, it's always going to be a tough day at the office." - John Blanco, Redlands United FC Women Coach
