August 4, 2016 watch Rio Olympics on Two PNCC DTV Channels. Palau National Communications Corporation (PNCC) is pleased to announce that two DTV channels are bringing the 2016 Rio Olympics to Palau’s TV viewers: Channel 65 in Basic and NBC on Channel 50 in the Super Basic premium package, from Saturday August 6 to Monday August 22. The Oceania National Olympic Committee (ONOC), in cooperation with the Palau National Olympic Committee (PNOC) President Frank Kyota and MCCA Minister and PNOC Secretary General Baklai Temengil, is generously sponsoring the live feed for Palau through Fiji TV, this year’s rights holder for the Pacific area. DTV Basic subscribers can watch for free on PNCC Digital TV Channel 65. The Opening Ceremony will be telecast live on Channel 65 this Saturday, August 6 at 7:50 AM Palau time. The official American broadcaster of the 2016 Rio Olympics is NBC, located on Ch. 50 in the DTV Super Basic package.
