Wedderburn Senior Coach Danny Benaim will in this weekends game against Charlton at Donaldson Park ,bring up his 250th senior game for the Redbacks. Danny who was appointed senior coach this year has shown his loyalty to the Wedderburn Football Club over many years and has an amazing playing record. After this weekends game he will have played 250 senior and 15 reserves games for the club and he has also represented the North Central League on 8 occassions and was also a premiership player with St Mary's in the NTFL while playing 21 games for that club. Danny is a five time premiership player with the Redbacks and was part of the 2007 team that won the Redbacks first flag for 37 years and was also a member of the clubs record breaking four premiership in a row from 2011 to 2014. Danny is a multiple winner of the clubs senior Best & Fairest and his playing record does not include any junior games played for the Redbacks.
