Euroa’s season virtually goes on the line every week it runs out to play from here until the end of the home and away rounds.
The Magpies face a tough road home to secure a place in the finals, still having to play against Kyabram and Benalla after today.
They will come up against a very good Lions’ outfit, which are in really good form.
The Lions have been the closest of anyone to defeat Kyabram, running them to nine points last weekend.
Jason Cole has had an outstanding season to date and he has been well supported by ruckman/forward Brandyn Grenfell, Billy Cox, coach, Brent Colbert and fellow midfielders Brett Meredith and Benny Clifton.
Pat Horsburgh, Nathan Gilliland, Marcus Varley, Andrew Bell and John Ikupu were the stars in the important victory last weekend while Bryce Frost was solid on debut.
