Defeat to Shepparton has put the Shepparton Swans under pressure with the race to play finals still well and truly alive.
Hayden Best and his coaching staff have no doubt reviewed what went wrong against the Bears and also had a look back at what they did well when they defeated Rochester at Princess Park earlier in the year.
One guy that the Swans must nullify is Steven Stroobants, who starred with five goals in the win against the Murray Bombers.
Tigers’ coach James Flaherty also played a solid game off half-back while ruckman Sam Brennan gave his midfielders first use of the ball.
Others players looking to continue their good form will be Mitch Bright, Nicholas O’Connor and Hamish Hooppell.
The Swans were poor in the first half against the Bears, but then managed to get back into the contest mid-way through the third quarter.
Brad Riddings, Jess Finnen, Tom Davies, BJ Squire, Kaiden Antonowicz and Lewis O’Sullivan were some of the players important in getting the team back into the contest.
These guys along with Tom Preece, Andrew Riordan, Mitch Bell, Josh Chapman and James Kroussoratis will need to fire to ensure the Swans come home with the four points.
