U14 Boys & Girls DD training begins Monday

AFL Queensland would like to invite you to participate in the 2016 U14 Darling Downs Boys / Girls representative program. The program will commence on Monday 25th July, 5pm – 6:30pm, and will be held at Rockville Park, Tor Street Toowoomba.

Emphasis of the 2016 program will be on 3 main areas:

1. Skill Development

2. Game Sens

3. Possible selection for the Darling Downs U14 girls representative team (competing in the State U14 Youth Girls carnival September 18-20, 22)

This is the first time an U14 boys / girls Darling Downs team has been invited to competet in the State Championships

Program Outline – U14 Darling Downs representative training (players born 2002, 2003, 2004)

Length: 8 weeks (4 weeks trail, 4 weeks final squad)

Time: 5:00-6:30pm

Venue: Rockville Park, Monday nights Tor Street Toowoomba

Staffing: All coaches for particular age groups outlined and introduced in week 1.

Program leader: Keith Webb (U14 Darling Downs head coach & Regional Manager)

Cost: To be advised at the first session

What to bring:

Players need to bring boots & joggers, and & water bottle to every session.
