Dear VCFA Players and Parents,

The VCFA is beginning trials for Victoria’s representative teams at the CFFA Nationals. 

When and Where

The 2016 National Titles will be held at Sydney Academy of Sport & Recreation at Narrabeen, Sydney. 

The Victorian squad will travel on Saturday 24th September and arrive home on Friday September 30th.

Costs

The VCFA subsidises the cost to attend nationals by 50%. This year, the approximate cost to players after the subsidy will be $600 to $700. (Updated figure on July 18th after further quotes received)

Clubs underwrite selected players, and therefore must endorse players before they are selected. Selected players pay their nationals fees to their club and the VCFA will invoice clubs for selected players.

Please note, to quality for an age group, a player must not be older than the maximum age (14, 16 or 18) by December 31st, 2016.

For example, and under 14 player must not be older than 14 by December 31st, 2016.

The first trials will be conducted on the following dates at the following locations:

U14 Boys:

- July 14th at 7.15pm at Lewis Park, Lewis Rd, Wantirna South

- July 21st at 7.15pm at Lewis Park, Lewis Rd, Wantirna South

 

U16 Girls:

- July 14th at 7:15pm at Lewis Park, Lewis Rd, Wantirna South

- July 18th at 6.30pm at Grices Road Reserve, Grices Rd, Berwick

- July 23rd at 6pm at Monbulk Recreational, Moores Rd, Monbulk

 

U16 Boys:

- July 11th at 7pm at Bob Saker Oval, Mahoneys Reserve, Mahoneys Rd Forest Hill

- July 23rd at 6pm at Eastern Football Precinct, Knox Regional Sports Park, George St, Wantirna South

 

U18 Boys:

- July 11th at 7pm at Bob Saker Oval, Mahoneys Reserve, Mahoneys Rd Forest Hill

- July 21st at 7.15pm at Lewis Park, Lewis Rd, Wantirna South

 

Senior Women:

- July 11th at 6.30pm at Grices Road Reserve, Grices Rd, Berwick

- July 18th at 7pm at Monbulk, Monbulk Reserve, Moores Rd, Monbulk

- July 25th at 7pm at Bob Saker Oval, Mahoneys Reserve, Mahoneys Rd Forest Hill

 

Senior Men:

- July 11th at 6.30pm at Grices Road Reserve, Grices Rd, Berwick

- July 18th at 7pm at Bob Saker Oval, Mahoneys Reserve, Mahoneys Rd Forest Hill

- July 25th at 6.30pm at Grices Road Reserve, Grices Rd, Berwick

 

Club Endorsement and Underwriting

The VCFA requires a club's endorsement for their players selected to represent the VCFA as clubs underwrite players to attend. Registration information submitted via the registration link below will be submitted to a player’s respective club to ensure endorsement.
