Football Wagga Wagga is pleased to announce the appointment of Liam Dedini as the organisation’s first Development Officer.

Following a change in the funding model by Football NSW, Football Wagga Wagga has been able to fund a part-time Development Officer to work directly in the interests of our district.

The position will provide services in three key areas:

1.         Club coach development

2.         School development programs

3.         Elite junior football programs (SAP and Pathways)

Liam represents the future of football in the region. He is young, enthusiastic, educated in the modern football curriculum, and brings coaching qualification and experience to the position. He has a strong network within both local clubs and within Football Wagga Wagga’s elite football programs.

“We welcome Liam into this very important role”, Football Wagga Wagga’s Development Manager Chris Jones said. “This is a game changer for the development of football in our region.” 

Liam will work closely with Football Wagga Wagga’s clubs, primary and secondary schools in the region, and the Wagga City Wanderers management committee to implement football programs.
