Redlands United have suffered a blow to their Premiership push after suffering a shock 3-1 defeat to Brisbane Roar Youth at Cleveland Showgrounds.
Yougn Roar battled strong winds before withstanding a late charge from Redlands to secure a second consecutive PlayStation 4 National Premier Leagues victory.
Club leading goalscorer Nicholas D’Agostino opened accounts for Young Roar before Jayden Prasad ensured a two goal advantage prior to half time.
Redlands' Westfield FFA Cup qualifying hero Graham Fyfe pulled a goal back midway through the second stanza, however Young Roar finished strongly before D’Agostino made sure of the win from penalty spot in the closing minutes.
The result sees Young Roar edge into seventh in the PlayStation 4 National Premier Leagues standings, while seeing Redlands remaining in third.

What They Said
“Redlands are a good side and in the second half they were always going to come back firing because I thought we dominated the first half.Today was also a bit of a grind and I was really proud that they dug in.It's part of their development - one part is playing and the other is learning that sometimes you had to pull together and grind and get something out of the football.” – Josh McCloughan, Brisbane Roar FC Youth coach
“I thought the Roar were very good today. We were below par on where we have been.We primarily want to get the ball down and play football and today we had to be a little bit more direct that we usually would. We don't have anything really specific to work on, just maybe having bit more game intelligence. Just in certain sections of the game I thought we showed a little naivety.” – Matt Chander, Redlands United FC coach
