Heat Chairman Steps Down
FNQ FC Heat have announced Chairman Colin Daly is stepping down from his role effective immediately to concentrate on work commitments.
Deputy Chairman Rob Giason will step into Daly’s position for the foreseeable future.
“We would like to thank Colin for his leadership and commitment over the past year,” a club statement read.
Daly, who is leading the merger of North Queensland credit unions ECU Australia and Queensland Country Credit Union, reflected positively on his time as Chairman.
“I have thoroughly enjoyed the role of Chairman and would like to thank everyone in the club for their support over the past 12 months,” Daly said.
“I congratulate Rob on taking the role of Chairman and know that he will do a fantastic job.”
Daly has recently overseen the appointments of Head Coach Tim Campbell and Technical Director Craig Midgley and departs the role with Heat currently leading the PlayStation® 4 National Premier Leagues.
He will remain a member of the club’s Board of Directors.
