King Valley defeated Whorouly by 38 points on Saturday.
KING Valley made club champion Jono Rea’s 200th match one to remember, dominating their clash at Whorouly to emerge triumphant by 38 points.
The Roos shared the goals, and kicked multiple goals in each of the first three quarters to set up their fourth win of the season, breathing down the neck of Bright for sixth spot on the Ovens and King ladder.
King Valley bounced out of the sheds and registered 3.5 (23) to 1.2 (8) in the opening quarter, making the most of the conditions and applying early scoreboard pressure to the Lions.
