Kyabram continued on its merry way when it travelled to Echuca last week. The Bombers have been ruthless, showing very little mercy for their opponents.
The Shepparton Swans have been very consistent this year and sit comfortably inside the top six.
They have the two losses – to Mansfield and Seymour both on the road.
This will be a huge test for the Swans.
They won’t fear playing the all-conquering Bombers who don’t have too many weaknesses.
Kyabram has at least four genuine match winners in Paul Newman, Kayne Pettifer, Jason Morgan and Lachie Smith can also go forward and kick goals if things get desperate.
Hayden Best knows there will be room for improvement despite grabbing the win against cross town rival Shepparton United.
There were patches through the game where they allowed the Demons to control the tempo.
But in the end the likes of BJ Squire, Andrew Riordan, Quade Johnstone, Jake Ewart and Mitch Bell were able to help the team pull away in the last quarter.
The Swans will need a solid contribution from everyone who takes the park today as Kyabram is littered with stars all over the ground.
