Shepparton returned to the winners’ list before the interleague break and coach Brad Campbell would say he didn’t want the week off.
After back-to-back losses, Campbell’s troops found their mojo against Tatura, largely thanks to the efforts of James Wong.
The Bulldogs kicked five goals from 24 scoring shots while Wong along kicked seven goals.
Ash Holland has continued on his splendid from last year and some of the club’s young cubs have been fantastic.
Seymour is well and truly back on track after wins against finals contenders Echuca and the Shepparton Swans in recent weeks.
The Lions have been very good even in their losses and leading the way is Ben Clifton, Jason Cole and Brett Meredith.
They to, have some young Lions who have relished the opportunity to play seniors this season.
This is a huge game for both these teams and if the Lions can stop the supply to Wong that will go a long way to them returning down the highway with the four points.
