Frankston snatched its second win of 2016 and the Casey Scorpions moved to the top of the Peter Jackson VFL ladder in Sunday’s Round 5 action.
The Dolphins trailed Coburg for much of the game after quarter time but booted two final-term goals to come from behind and win in front of their home fans for the second time in three weeks.
The Scorpions made it a dirty day for the Northern Blues in triumphing by 107 points while Footscray also had a big win, accounting for North Ballarat by 105 points.

Streak: Casey Scorpions – W W L W W / Northern Blues – L W L L L
Telling facts: Casey kept Northern goalless until very late in the third quarter on a dirty day for the Blues at Casey Fields. A six-goal-to-one second quarter had the Lions in front by 19 points at the main break, but Frankston worked its way back into the contest, capitalising on six straight behinds from Coburg in the last term to claw over the line late and keep the Lions winless in 2016.
