Westfield FFA Cup Preliminary Round 6 fixtures in metro zone qualifying have been confirmed – with four big matches over two days.
Four PlayStation 4 National Premier Leagues clubs from the greater Brisbane area remain in the hunt for two places in the national Round of 32 through the zone qualification process.
Brisbane City, Redlands United and Moreton Bay United will be the first second tier clubs to take the field in Preliminary Round 6 on Tuesday May 17.
City and the Red Devils will duke it out in an all PlayStation 4 National Premier Leagues clash at Corporate Travel Management Stadium, while the Jets travel to third-tier Flight Centre Premier League outfit Rochedale Rovers.
The winners of those two fixtures will then meet in Preliminary Round 7 for a place in the Round of 32, ensuring one club will make their first ever appearance in the competition’s national stage.
Two-time Round of 32 qualifiers Brisbane Strikers will discover their club’s fate the following night away to fourth-tier Capital League One club Southside Eagles.
Third tier Lions FC, who are seeking their second appearance in the Round of 32, will travel to Moggill FC on the same night to close out the round.
The winners of those ties will clash in Preliminary Round 7 to advance to the national stage.
