NEWS: GRFC Women's Division - Round 4 PREVIEW

IT will be a case of top versus fourth in Round 4 of the GRFC Women’s Division One games when 1st placed Deakin Ducks take on the 4th placed Barwon SC in the Match of the Day on Saturday.
To be contested on Friday night at Grovedale Reserve, the Ducks and Barwon will face off to see if Deakin can keep its unbeaten winning streak which started in the first game of the season. Kick off is 6.30pm.
The second game of interest in Round 4 will be the Kardinia International College v Drysdale clash. Kicking off at the earlier time of 1.00pm at Kardinia’s Bell Post Hill campus, third placed Drysdale will be aiming for their second win of the season, while Kardinia will be trying to do the same.
The final game on Saturday is the Surfside Waves SC v Geelong encounter at Geelong’s Stead Park. Surfside is currently sitting in second spot on the ladder, trailing the leaders Deakin by three points. The Ocean Grove outfit will attempt to close the gap by beating Geelong on Saturday, who are yet to register a win this season.
