The EDFL is delighted to have the Warragul Greyhound Racing Club come aboard as a major sponsor for the 2016 season. Ellinbank and District Football League Secretary Ken Moore met with Manager of the Warragul Greyhound Racing Club Adrian Scott, along with President Phil Pryor to finalise the details of the arrangement last week at the Warragul track.
“It’s great to receive support from a local business and one that is a big asset to the community,” said Moore this week.
“The Warragul Greyhound racing club is a great fit as the league is based in and around Warragul and both bodies provide people with an opportunity to be involved with others and leisure activities that give them an escape from their day to day jobs,” Moore added.
As part of the sponsorship deal the EDFL intend to move their information and the 2016 Junior Presentation night to the Warragul Greyhound club function centre. The Warragul Greyhound Racing club will also have the naming rights for the league Most Disciplined Award. The EDFL social media will promote upcoming Warragul Greyhound Racing club events and football clubs can expect some special deals. The Ellinbank & District Netball Association (EDNA) will also receive monies as part of this sponsorship to support their undertakings.
Warragul Greyhound racing hold meetings every Tuesday and Thursday.
