Women's Round 1 Rising Star Sarah Steele-Park (UNSW/ES Stingrays)

The Round 1 Women's Rising Star is Sarah Steele-Park from UNSW/ES Stingrays.

Sarah Steele-Park picked up the game two months ago, joining the Stingrays from the start of the pre season and going from strength to strength on the training paddock.

An agile player with a natural inclination to attack the ball, she played her first game in Division One against UTS before backing up for the Premier Division game against Power only two hours later.

She impressed the coaches with her willingness to read the play, get her head over the footy and provide run across both the back line and half forward line. Her enthusiasm and unwavering support is also loved by her teammates across the board

A real team player, SSP will be one to watch this season as she continues to develop her skills and positional play.
