Trial format:
Monday will be 1/2 pitch games 7/8/9 a side

Players will be given numbered bibs on the night, these should be worn at all times and returned at the end of the trial. (players will have a different bib in the 2nd trial)
The trials will be an open and transparent process with a number of independent coaches assessing the players, coaches will not know the names/DOB or club at which the players play.
Players should wear "neutral" playing kits, ie Barcelona/Man Utd/school tops/etc. NO LOCAL CLUB KITS TO BE WORN.
Goalkeepers to wear GK tops (not club) and bring gloves.
Players will be assessed on the following criteria:
- 1st touch (particularly under pressure)
- Running with the ball - When and where
- 1v1 defending and attacking
- Striking the ball - Passing and shooting
- Attitude and willingness to learn
- Game impact
In addition, the older age groups (14/16) will also be assessed on
- Spacial awareness
- Understanding of positional roles and responsibilities.

With the numbers we have NO outfield players will be selected for older age groups, (Goalkeepers may be an exception due to the specialised position and number of players registered)
Players will be notified no later than Saturday April 23rd if they have been successful, have gained an emergency position or unfortunately missed out this time. Please note we will not be able to provide individual feedback for those unsuccessful.
Players who are successful will need to confirm their position and pay the tournament fee ($275) by Wednesday April 27th 5pm, at which time emergency players will be offered their position.
