Winter 2016 Rule Changes & No Zone policy
Rule Changes
Few changes for the start of Winter 2016, as approved at the Special General meeting on Monday night:
- The three-pointers rule will now apply in U13s (and older) – was previously U15
- 3 seconds in the key will now apply in U13s (and older) – was previously U15
- For clarity, a time-out can be called in the 1st half with 3:00 on the clock, whilst a time-out can NOT be called in the 1st half with 2:59 (or less) on the clock.
- Whilst the EDJBA has also adopted Basketball Australia’s “No Zone” policy for U8s to U14s. Click here for more information
